Have you ever wondered how newspapers are made? Even better would you like to take part and produce Red Hill's very own children's led newspaper, which will include film and audio! Then now is the time! end2end TV are running NEWS Club in the Spring Terms 2026 and we are looking for young people in Years 3-6 who would like to become Red Hill's Media Team! You will be immersed into a real life buzzing News Room, working as a team to create, name and produce colourful, expressive and engaging digital media. Opportunities will include using broadcast equipment to create short films or audio podcasts, including the art of storyboarding. You will explore Adobe software to create parts of your Newspaper and become even more of a whizz using Word. Red Hill Reporters will receive: • A club badge, notebook and pencil • Opportunities to make friends doing something brand new After school on Tuesday at 3.15-4.15pm; Red Hill News Room, Classroom TBC, Red Hill School, Chistlehurst. As part of this club, the team will be invited to take part in an interactive news workshop in our multi-camera green screen studio in Sidcup, scheduled for February 18th during Half Term. As a registered Arts Award centre, young people can achieve a Discover Arts Award with us as an optional extra, if they attend at least five club sessions. (Discover is the introductory level to launch into the Arts Award qualification network). You can join at any time and the cost will be reduced accordingly; this is reflected on the website.
