🎥 Immersive Studio & Control Room Experience Hurstmere Enrichment Day 25th March 2026 We are excited to offer Year 9 pupils a fantastic (1 hour 50 minute) VE Day–themed Film & TV Studio Experience on Enrichment Day – 25th March, delivered by end2end TV CIC, an award-winning, not-for-profit TV production company. This immersive, hands-on session will take place in the green screen multi-camera TV studio and control room located within the grounds of Hurstmere School and will link directly to students’ History topic on the Second World War and VE Day. During the experience, pupils will: • Recreate a 1945-style news broadcast announcing the end of the war in Europe • Take on key production roles including presenter, camera operator, director and vision mixer • Work with real broadcast-standard cameras and studio equipment • Step inside a functioning TV studio and control room • Explore how media shaped public understanding and morale at the end of WWII • Develop teamwork, creativity, confidence and digital production skills end2end TV CIC specialises in empowering young filmmakers and content creators aged 7–18 (and those young at heart!) to create their own TV, film and video using professional broadcast equipment. They are passionate about investing in diverse groups of team players, digital leaders and innovators. The subsidised cost for this exciting curriculum-linked enrichment opportunity is £13.75 per pupil and is limited to a maximise of 75 pupils across the year group.
