So much to catch up about after a full Summer! Firstly, we are excited to have become a not for profit Community Interest Company; end2end TV CIC.
Our activities will provide benefit to children and young people in the community in a number of ways. From providing immersive clubs and workshops for young people in TV Production, led by young leaders, to working on digital projects with children and young people across the community, such as Studio & Control Room shoots and gaining work experience. The emphasis will always be on children and young people leading the whole production process.
Following an exciting 2021 Art Project with our patron, Storyboard Artist Jay Clarke, our e2e Crew member Jack drew a storyboard and produced this fantastic animation summing up our first e2e TV Club, helping illustrate our ...from concept to creation ethos at end2end TV brilliantly! Take a look, we think it's amazing! With thanks also to Jay - it was a great three part project with a team of talented, enthusiastic artists and we are looking forward to future possibilities!
And we are off! Our e2e Club #1 launched last Wednesday and it was amazing to start the day by talking to Duncan Martin at Maritime Radio on his breakfast show. You can take a listen to our chat here, and we have added the e2e Crew's first podcast below that was also aired. There is nothing better than hearing from the children at the heart of what we do; they are a skilled, talented, vibrant bunch and we love hearing their thoughts. Take a listen!
It was great to welcome our first group of young people to our Introduction to TV Production Club this week - we are looking forward to spending this term together, immersing them in TV Production roles and producing a fun TV Programme as a team; they will be experiencing a Studio, Control Room & Editing Hub, as well as going out on location with ENG cameras - and it will all be wrapped up in achieving a Discover Arts Award!
Thanks also go to the Arts Award Voice Magazine for featuring us this month.
We are looking forward to contributing regularly to 'The Voice' and Maritime Radio, as well as continuing to build and strengthen community links with others too. Please feel free to get in touch with any enquiries or simply to say hello!
