Summer Band Shoots

The e2e Crew have enjoyed being back in the Studio & Control Room over the last month; taking on various tasks from filming interviews to collaborating with local bands.

We connected with Andrew Gilbert and record label Studio-Fix based at Hurstmere Secondary School, and welcomed two Y7 bands to the studio. Meeting and rehearsing has been much more challenging during the Pandemic, but Studio-Fix still managed to work with the boys to create original tracks using songs that they have themselves written. This was a great opportunity to link with a local school and add in some Q&A to support transition for our Y6 pupils too.

The crew resumed their studio & control room roles and really enjoyed the experience of shooting bands. Some members of the crew were moved into new roles to shadow others, which went incredibly well. You can read more about that here: https://e2etv.live/2021/06/24/278/

A week later we welcomed local band, Hot Paint! to the studio and loved working with them too. Recording a live band was a great experience! Indeed, filming & mixing on both occasions was fantastic for all involved and a brilliant enriching time in our TV NOW! Scholarship Program, enabling the crew to edit the band promos and create really lovely videos to give to our visitors.

Here's Andrew's edit for Hot Paint's new song, 'Call Me'.

Thank you to all our visitors. It was great collaborating with you all!
